Recently, the MedHub group based in Minneapolis packaged food that will be distributed to children in Nicaragua with the non-profit Feed My Starving Children. FMSC sends food to people in developing nations all over the world. The food is specifically designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition. Together with other volunteers, the group packed 153 boxes, which is 33,048 meals – this will feed 91 children for a year. With food, the children are able to thrive, go to school, and not worry about where their next meal will come from. It was a fun and rewarding way to spend the afternoon with coworkers!
